Angaza Dialogue platform(ADP): Empowering the Next Generation
About ADP
The Angaza Dialogue Platform program by the Loyola Center for Media and Communications (LCMC) is a transformative initiative designed to foster an enabling environment for children and young people under 25 years. Anchored in the principles of evidence-based advocacy, ADP targets systemic issues that hinder holistic child development and limit access to sustainable employment opportunities. The program leverages participatory methodologies, ensuring that young people are beneficiaries and active contributors to solutions that shape their future.
Our Focus
ADP focuses on addressing root causes that impede the well-being and growth of children and youth. This involves identifying and dismantling structural barriers, including inequitable policies, limited access to quality education, and systemic unemployment. The program collaborates with state and non-state actors to create actionable policies and programs that prioritize child welfare, youth empowerment, and equitable access to opportunities. By utilizing rigorous research and community-driven insights, ADP ensures its interventions are relevant and impactful.
Structure of ADP
The program is structured around three key intervention areas. Citizen Engagement is first exemplified by its ongoing project to combat corruption. This initiative empowers communities to demand accountability from leaders, fostering a culture of transparency and justice. The second area is Social Accountability, where ADP encourages communities to work collaboratively with County and National Governments to ensure taxpayer-funded projects are implemented with greater integrity and efficiency. Finally, Faith Practice underscores the active role of believers in promoting integrity within and beyond government. ADP emphasizes that faith is not merely a private practice but a force for action, driving individuals and communities to live out their beliefs by championing integrity and justice.
Ultimate Vision of ADP
Ultimately, ADP envisions a society where every child and young person thrives. It strives to build a culture of inclusivity, dignity, and opportunity by addressing developmental challenges at its core. The program addresses immediate needs by fostering partnerships across sectors and communities and lays the groundwork for long-term systemic change. Through the Angaza Dialogue Platform, LCMC continues to champion a future where every young person has the tools and opportunities to achieve their full potential, grounded in a foundation of accountability, collaboration, and faith-inspired action.
Join us in building a foundation of accountability, collaboration, and hope for the next generation.
