About ARU-FoMRU
The Association of Religious in Uganda (ARU) plays a vital role in nurturing the spiritual, pastoral, and human growth of clergy and religious men and women across Uganda. Through its Formation Centre, ARU offers specialized training for formators and spiritual directors, and facilitates transformative experiences such as the 8-day and 30-day retreats.
To further enhance the impact of its formation initiatives, ARU partnered with the Loyola Centre for Media and Communication (LCMC) to document and share the transformative stories emerging from its programs.
LCMC conducted field visits, interviewing both facilitators and participants whose lives and ministries had been deeply enriched by ARU’s formation programs. These interviews were carefully produced into engaging video stories, highlighting the personal and communal transformation brought about through ARU’s mission.
To ensure wide reach and engagement, LCMC established ARU’s social media presence and managed a dynamic online campaign from late August to late October 2025. The campaign received remarkable attention, with strong viewership, positive reactions, and meaningful interactions from across the faith community and beyond.
This collaboration demonstrated LCMC’s reliability and professionalism as a communication partner – one that listens deeply, tells stories authentically, and uses modern media to amplify the voice and mission of faith-based organizations.
Through its partnership with ARU, LCMC once again affirmed its commitment to advancing the Church’s mission through creative storytelling, professional media production, and impactful digital outreach.
LCMC remains a trusted ally of ARU and other faith-based organizations, dedicated to helping them share their transformative work with the world – effectively, ethically, and beautifully.
