Church and Technology program is intended to help religious instructors understand how to incorporate modern technology in the mission of the church.Technological advancement has moved the world to another level. A big percentage of the success of what we do today is determined by how much we have embraced the sophisticated technologies. As technology continues to advance and become more efficient, the ability to connect with people anywhere, and at any time has become more and more feasible. LCMC endeavours to enhance the mission of the church in this technological era by promoting and equipping different demographics within the church with practical skills of integrating new technologies in the mission. Among these are religious men and women, pastoral animators, teachers, parents and guardians.According to a research conducted by LCMC, young people are becoming disillusioned and disaffiliated from the Church, and being lured into a life of individualism, materialism, hedonism and consumerism. Thus, the number of youth leaving the Church is quite high. The digital space therefore is one of the most relevant methods of propagating faith in a globalized world.
