MEDIA LITERACY PROJECT

The Media Literacy Project is part of LCMC’s Digital Culture program, aimed at empowering participants to navigate, evaluate, and utilize digital platforms responsibly and effectively.
This initiative focuses on integrating media literacy with AI tools to enhance community engagement, streamline operations, and foster ethical communication, particularly within religious and educational contexts.
Project Objectives
Empower Religious Leadership: Through Equip priests, religious leaders, and animators with AI tools to enhance community outreach, manage administrative tasks efficiently, and create impactful, age-appropriate content, especially for children and young people.
Develop Critical Media Skills: Train participants to critically evaluate, ethically create, and effectively communicate information across various digital formats.
Promote Responsible Digital Engagement: Foster informed and responsible interaction with digital content, emphasizing strategies to combat misinformation, reduce bias, and encourage ethical online behavior.
We consider technology as an integral component of resilience. The more young people understand the value of technology use in this technology driven world, the more they seek opportunities to advance their lives in a hyper globalized world.
